LHS PRESS RELEASE

Building upon the qualities of Pride, Responsibility, and Respect, the Lutcher High School family continues to grow academically.  The efforts of our team are evident in our school’s School Performance Score growth from an 81.9 in 2014 to an 86.7 in 2015.  This growth propelled our school’s letter grade from a C to a B.  With a strong focus on preparation for college and careers, our students’ performances on ACT led to a 10-point ACT index growth towards our School Performance Score increase.  In addition, implementation of common assessments and professional development led to our End-of-Course index increase of 2 points.  As we continuously work toward the development of strong curricula and implementing data-driven instruction, we look forward to strong academic performance and continued growth.
